Our Afterhours Clinic consults by either making an appointment in advance or walk in during opening times.
Appointments can also be made by calling (03) 8742 3800, from 4.00pm to 8.00am Monday to Thursday, Friday to Monday 6pm to 8am and public holidays 24 hours.
We aim to keep on time, but sometimes a more urgent appointment may be needed, in that case we will keep you informed about any delay. We try to keep waiting times at a minimum, however sometimes it's unavoidable. We ask for your patience in these circumstances.
A longer consultation is available if required, please advise reception staff at the time of making the appointment.
What does this mean for your appointment?
We are here to help get you through the night.
Unfortunately as an AMDS we cannot provide all the services that a usual treating practice can. Under the AMDS guidelines our practice can only provide after-hours primary health care to patients on behalf of your regular GP and not any services that could conflict with those provided by your regular GP.
This includes but is not limited to; Centrelink certificates, medicals, specialist referrals, repeat/long term scripts and some out of practice request such as radiology, ultrasound and pathology referrals.
